Registration is now open for the 17th Press Investor Education Award, organized by the Education Advisory Committee of the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and supported by B3.
The Impressa Investor Education Award aims to recognize and distinguish materials and reports, with educational content, that best perform the function of informing citizens, presenting basic concepts of personal finance, financial planning and investments, or guiding investors, clarifying the characteristics, opportunities and risks inherent to the capital market
Award Details
- The authors of the works awarded in the 17th Press Investor Education Award, ranked first in each category, will be honored with the following prizes:
- R$3,500.00 (three thousand and five hundred reais), per work in each category (Newspaper — National Coverage, Newspaper — Local/Regional Coverage, Magazine and Digital Media). In case of co-authorship, the prize will be divided between the author and the co-author(s).
- Certificate (for author and possible co-author) and plaque alluding to the award.
- At the discretion of the Education Advisory Committee, ex officio or at the suggestion of the Judging Committee, honorable mentions may be awarded to works that, although they stood out in each category, did not rank first and, therefore, were not awarded.
Categories
Reports published between 1/1/2023 and 12/31/2023 in the following categories can participate:
- Newspaper:Â national coverage
- Newspaper:Â local/regional coverage
- Magazine:Â national, regional or local circulation
- Digital media:Â portals of journalistic companies with Brazilian dominance (a copy of the page or set of pages of the article must be presented, in a PDF file, accompanied by a printout proving the publication of the material through the electronic address where the page is located).
Criteria
- The reports that will compete for the award must have been published in a magazine, newspaper or website of a Brazilian publication, meaning those based in the country, and refer to facts or events that occurred in the national territory.
- Articles with an advertising nature or identifying a sponsor will not be accepted.
- The reports must have been published or broadcast within the period of 01 January 2023 to December 31, 2023.
- Reports authored by a single professional may compete for the Investor Education Press Award with co-authorship permitted, as long as it is limited to three people (author and two co-authors).
- Reports must be written in Portuguese.
- Texts on blogs are not eligible for the Prize.
