The Photography 4 Humanity is seeking the best Justice Photography through its 2024 Global Prize Competition.
The 2024 Global Contest promotes climate justice. They believe climate change is a human rights issue, so they are looking for images that show people impacted by the escalating climate crisis. They include climate refuges, the very young, the very old, the disabled and injured, the poor, indigenous and island people, and women. Images of climate champions advocating for change, and those helping to mitigate and reverse climate change are welcome.
Prize Information
- The 2024 Global Prize Recipient will receive $5,000 USD
- The Global Prize Recipient, top 10 Finalists and 20 Honorable Mentions will be exhibited globally on December 10, 2024 – via UN.org.
- The Global Prize Recipient, top 10 Finalists, and 20 Honorable mentions will then have their work help open the 2025 Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit hosted by the University of Oxford on June 5, 2025 – UN World Environment Day.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be at least 18 years of age or older to enter.
- All entries must be submitted between Feb 1, 2024 12:00PM EST and August 1, 2024 12:00PM PST
- The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers.
- All photography must relate to climate justice issues, and may include climate refuges, the very young, the very old, the disabled and injured, the poor, indigenous and island people, and women. Images of climate champions advocating for change, and those helping to mitigate and reverse climate change are welcome.
- All images must have been taken within between August 1, 2023 and August 1, 2024.
- By entering the competition, you acknowledge that Photography 4 Humanity is authorized to receive and review your data including, but not limited to, name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. This information may be collected, processed, stored, and otherwise used for the purposes of conducting and administering this photography competition. Participants have the right to access, review, rectify or delete any personal data held by Photography 4 Humanity by sending an email.

- All entries will be reviewed and pre-screened by the Photography 4 Humanity editors. The screened entries will then be reviewed by the Photography 4 Humanity eminent judges. The decisions of the judges are final.
