The search for the best journalistic work of the year by emerging talents has begun for the 34th Axel Springer Prize for Young Journalism – one of the most prestigious awards for young journalists in the German-speaking world – not only editors-in-chief and heads of department can nominate outstanding work from 2024 by young talents.

Funding Information
- Prize amount: 10,000 euros
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible for nomination are journalistic contributions in German language from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, created by trainees, editors, or freelancers who were no older than 33 at the time of publication. For team projects, this age limit applies to all primary contributors.
