With the theme “Regional Development of the Amazon – Practices and Solutions”, the 1st Ampla Journalism Award aims to recognize the work of professionals who produce reports on the Amazon, in addition to encouraging the production of content on social and cultural development, environmental and economic aspects of the region by the regional and national press.
Categories
- National
- All works that were broadcast/published nationally
- State
- All works that were broadcast/published in vehicles in the state of Pará
- Digital
- All work carried out specifically in reports published on news portals.
Award Information
- Prizes will be awarded to the first three placed in each category, following way:
First Place: R$ 15,000.00 and trophy;
Second Place: R$ 10,000.00 and trophy;
Third Place: R$ 5,000.00 and trophy.
Eligibility Criteria
- The submitted works must cover topics related to the various aspects of the Amazonian reality, with particular emphasis on social, cultural,environmental, economic and technological region.
- Work published or broadcast in TV stations, newspapers, magazines and news portals in Brazil, in the period covered between April 15, 2024 and September 15, 2024.
- Only journalists with Valid Professional Registration.
- Works that present any racist expression, support for crime or illegal practices.
