The Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the USA (AFPC-USA) is pleased to announce applications for US-based foreign journalists who publish abroad in radio, TV, online, print, and online foreign media.
Award Categories
- Their published reporting must fall into one of the following categories:
- Global Health Care and Covid19
- Technology
- Environment and Climate Change
- Minorities, Inequality, and Discrimination
- Business and Economics
- International/National Politics
- Misinformation
- Arts and Entertainment
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants are not allowed to submit more than one professional work, and each work must fall within one of the categories. Applicants must be based in the US and work for any international media outlet.
- To be eligible for an award in 2024, international correspondents must submit no more than one piece of professional work published in any format (print, radio, online, broadcast, or print) for an international media outlet in the years 2023 or 2024.
- All international journalists working for foreign media outlets accredited as journalists in the United States can apply. An award of excellence will be accompanied by monetary support.
