The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with WHO, and UNV in Kosovo offices, through the Healthier Kosovo 2 Project, generously funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, have launched the 4th edition of the #ECOKOSOVO Photography Competition to showcase inspirational environmental and health photography across Kosovo.
Participants should take a high-quality photo of the nature, the greenery and the amazing variety of wildlife that makes the Earth livable; the nature’s struggle with climate change and human activities; the way they imagine their world without all the landscapes and wildlife would be like, and post it on their social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, with a meaningful and heartfelt message, mentioning #ecokosovo4.
Theme
- Under the theme of ‘Now, so that nature is not gone!’ UNDP Kosovo invites professional and non-professional photographers, explorers, and adventure travelers across Kosovo, to be part of the competition, showcasing the urgency of the situation and galvanizing everyone into action.
Criteria
- Participants who submit their photos by 30 November 2023 have the opportunity to win one of three prizes.
- The winning photographs will be selected based on artistic expression, creativity, originality, and prizes will be awarded to the most powerful ones.
- The winners will be announced on EcoKosovo social media platforms after the call closes, so stay tuned!
