The European Labour Authority is seeking applications for the #EURES30 Youth Video Competition to showcase your creativity, and inspire others by spreading the message that EURES anywhere in Europe, has the right job for young people.
The leading European service for job mobility and fair recruitment EURES celebrates 30 years of helping young people find their dream jobs all over Europe. To mark the anniversary, they wish to hear from you! Send them your video and tell them: How can EURES help you achieve your dream job in Europe.
Prize Information
- The prize package includes flights and accommodation for two nights. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the European Labour Authority headquarters and meet the EURES team. There will also be prizes for the remaining two positions in the form of branded EURES merchandise.
Geographic Focus
- EURES covers 31 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
Eligibility Criteria
- If you are a citizen or resident in a EURES country, between 18 and 30 years old, and you:
- are looking for your dream job;
- are still in training about to start looking for your first job;
- are a high school student;
- have recently graduated from university;
- are interested in working abroad in Europe;
- are ready to broaden your horizons, learn new skills, and get on the right path towards your dream career.
Exclusion Criteria
- Submissions that fall into any of the following categories will be deemed ineligible:
- Applications that are incomplete or that lack mandatory information/content.
- Applications that are not submitted by the set deadline.
- Applicant(s) and videos that do not fulfil basic eligibility criteria will not be considered.
- Only eligible applicants’ videos will be open for public voting.
- Applications that are ineligible will be automatically excluded from the selection process without prior notification.
- The Competition Management team has sole discretion to determine an entry’s eligibility. Entries that do not comply with formal requirements, contain offensive content, or are otherwise objectionable, will be disqualified. The Competition Management reserve the right to reject submissions/entries without providing supporting reasons or notice.
- There is no legal recourse if an application is disqualified for the above-stated reasons.
Languages
- Videos can be created in any EURES language and submitted with or without subtitles. They must be accompanied by a transcript translated to English, as requested in the Application Form. The spoken language of the video must also be transcribed.
