Investigative journalist and AI expert Brandon Roberts developed the Journalism AI course to explore AI in its early form, and has been researching and applying AI techniques to investigative reporting since 2013.

Criteria
- They are passionate about making AI more accessible and overcoming the negative biases in the global news industry on the topic. To make the course more accessible, there is no registration fee. You can complete all six parts and receive a certificate of completion for free.
- The certificate will be available on the last Friday of each month until the end of December 2024.
- Although you receive a new section each week, you can complete the course in your own time, easily fitting reading around your other commitments. They understand that life can get busy at times, so once you receive the sections, they are yours to keep, meaning you can take a break if needed, and come back to them when you can.
- The course is available in both Arabic and English. This course is for the Arabic language course, so proficiency in Arabic is important to join the course and benefit from it.
