Are you a young journalist, passionate about climate and seeking to understand how policies lead to impact? Then the AFD Climate Journalism Workshop might be for you.
It aims to bring together journalists from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and SriLanka to reflect on the challenges and opportunities related to climate change, in preparation for COP 29.
Workshop Details
- Date/Place: 8-10 October, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
- Flights & accomodation paid.
- 2 days of theoretical sessions & 1day field visit.
- Falicitation by a French climate journalism expert.
Who can apply?
- Ideal candidates should:
- be between 1l and 35year old.
- have at least 1 year of experience in covering climate related issues within a newsroom or independently.
- be able to share published articles related to climate.
- hold a valid passport that allows them to travel to Su Laoka.
- be available to travel to Si Lanka from 7 to 10 October 2024.
