The Blue Mountain Tours Ja is inviting photographers of all levels to participate in the Photo Competition to celebrate the beauty of the Blue Mountains fleeting moments and the joyous art of photography.
By submitting your photos, you not only stand a chance to win amazing prizes but also grant them full rights to the submitted photographs so that they may be featured in future promotions and showcase your skills.
Theme
- The theme of the competition is “Colorful culture, Lifestyles and Locals.” They want participants to capture those unique instances that may only last a second but have the power to tell a captivating story.

- Capture the beauty of nature in its most fleeting moments – sunrise, sunset, changing weather, wildlife in action, etc.
- Colorful Culture
- Celebrate the vibrant & diverse culture within the Blue Mountain. Focus on tradition, festivals and artistic expressions that define life in the Blue Mountains.
- Timeless Traditions
- Preserve cultural and traditional moments in the Blue Mountains that pass by in an instant – rituals, ceremonies, celebrations, etc.
- Adventures Aloft
- Shots of the Blue Mountains that offer a unique perspective of the area.
- Coffee Chronicles
- A unique perspective of the growth and cultivation of coffee within the Blue Mountain.

Guidelines
- Each participant can submit up to ONE (1) photograph per category, a total of FIVE (5) photographs maximum.
- Submitted photographs should be in JPEG format; image size 1080x1080px (1:1), 1080x1350px (4:5), 1080x1920px (9:16).
- Participants must include a brief, vivid description for each photograph, explaining the moment captured.
- Submissions must be original work created by the participant.
Judging Criteria
- A panel of experienced photographers will evaluate the submissions based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to Theme: How well does the photograph capture a fleeting moment?
- Creativity: Uniqueness of the captured moment and the composition.
- Excellence: Clarity, lighting, focus, and overall technical quality of the photograph.
- Emotional Impact: The ability of the photograph to evoke emotions and tell a story.
- Overall Impression: The overall appeal and impression of the photograph.
