Call for Entries: Earth in Focus Photography Contest (India)

Earth in Focus is a platform for every photography enthusiast. They believe, every photo has a story to tell, and to capture a priceless moment in time, all you need is a keen eye, passion and patience.

Theme

• One World Many Frames: India is a magnificent mosaic of cultures, historical influences, architecture which are beautifully reflected across various regions. The theme invites photographers to showcase what is their unique take on ‘India’ through heartfelt and personal photography.

Categories

• Indian Markets: Indian markets are a sensory overload, offering a kaleidoscope of colors, sounds, and smells. They are a community of the country’s diversity, reflecting its rich cultural tapestry
• Ancient Marvels: From the ancient rock-cut caves to the modern metropolis skylines, India’s architectural journey is a captivating story
• Wildlife: India is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, and its wildlife is a major draw for photographers.

Prize Information

• Gratification for the final 3 winners:
  • Stand a chance to win exciting photography gear (1 per winner)
  • Feature on Sony BBC Earth’s official social media pages
  • Sony BBC Earth reserves the right to not feature the winning entries on-air and is not obliged to intimate in advance.
  • Virtual meet and greet with the judge (either on FB/Insta Live or Zoom). Date, time and duration will be decided as per judge’s and winners’ convenience.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The Contest is open only to Indian citizens, residing in India. Citizens and/or residents of countries other than India are not eligible to participate.
• The participants must be adults having attained the age of eighteen (18) years to participate in the Contest as on the date of the Contest.
