The Region Norrbotten’s art developer, in collaboration with KKV Luleå and the art magazine Loosenart, invites photographers (artists and journalists alike) to apply for a 6-week production residency.
During the residency, the selected photographer will have access to a studio space at KKV Luleå, an artist collective equipped with various machines and workshops. This setup fosters collaboration and networking with regional artists and professionals. Additionally, trips and study visits within the region can be organized based on the artist’s preferences and research interests.
As part of the residency, the photographer will also be invited to give a presentation on their artistic work to local audiences.

- Freelance status with own company.
- Interest or experience working in the Arctic.
Eligibility Criteria
- Resident of an EU country.
- Professional visual artist with at least 5 years of experience.
