The South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network is currently accepting applications for a bursary opportunity to support individuals in starting their own community cinema based in the United Kingdom.
The Program includes a series of workshops and coaching sessions, covering topics such as film screening, venue and equipment, special events, film programming, fundraising, and marketing.
The coaching sessions will be conducted online, allowing flexibility for participants and their teams. The program will run from March to May 2024, with workshops spaced out over the three-month period. Each workshop comes with a PowerPoint presentation, and participants will receive a copy for future reference, along with other useful resources.
Funding Information
- Participants will also receive a £300 bursary to put on their first screening, which must take place by the end of June 2024.
- Additionally, free equipment hire is available for Cinema for All members for their first screening, provided bookings are made by 25th May 2024.
