They’re seeking a creative filmmaker or team to craft a short filmic response, no longer than 15 minutes, exploring the theme of ‘Creative Newport.’ Your mission is to uncover the stories of the diverse and innovative individuals and organisations that contribute to Newport’s rich tapestry of creativity.
Funding Information
- Up to £10,000 (inclusive of VAT), covering all production costs, including crew, equipment hire, music licensing, archival footage, and post-production expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must either be born in Newport or currently reside in the city. The film cannot exceed 15 minutes in length, and applicants must have prior experience in filmmaking. Applicants must also be over 18 years of age and not in full-time education.
- In addition to producing the film, successful applicants will also provide five paid work experience opportunities for Newport residents. This initiative aims to empower locals to contribute creatively to the project while gaining invaluable skills and experience in filmmaking.
