The Central Adoption Resource Authority in collaboration with MyGov invites Prospective adoptive parents, adoptive parents, and all stakeholders dedicated to finding loving families for children in need of care and protection to share their experiences related to adoption.
These stories can be shared in video, audio, or article format in either English or Hindi. The goal of this initiative is to create a powerful social message that dispels common myths surrounding adoption and foster care.

Eligibility Criteria
- The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
Application Requirements
- This competition supports the CARA’s Mission for raising awareness towards Foster Care and Foster Adoption.
- Participants grant the organizers an exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to all rights, including intellectual property, for their submissions.
- Organizers have the right to publish, use, adapt, edit, and modify submissions in any media, worldwide and in perpetuity, for purposes including advertising and promotion.
- Please note that the story must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. National Commission for Women does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
- Participants should ensure their MyGov profile is complete. This profile will be used by the Ministry of Women and Child Development for all future communications.
- Organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competition and terms at any time.
- Submissions must not contain illegal, obscene, provocative, or inappropriate content.
- The committee’s decision is final. No re-evaluation requests will be entertained.
- These terms are governed by Indian law.
