Entries open for La Fabrique Cinéma

Deadline: 5 November 2024

The La Fabrique Cinéma has been created by the Institut français, in partnership with France Médias Monde and the International Organisation of La Francophonie to support new talented filmmakers from Southern and emerging countries on the international market.

The aim is to create concrete opportunities for these projects by providing access to different activities and personalized support through one-to-one and group meetings with key players in the film industry.

Benefits

  • From April to June 2024, filmmakers and producers from La Fabrique Cinéma benefited from an online program:
    • Personalized coaching.
    • Workshops: pitch, video pitch production, co-production, international sales.
    • Collective meetings with key players in the film industry.
    • Tailor-made individual consultations organized for projects 1 masterclass by director Philippe Lacôte, sponsor of La Fabrique Cinéma 2024, 1 working session and an individual meeting for each project.
    • Nearly 300 individual meetings with potential French, European and international partners throughout the program.
    • Meetings with French and international composers as part of Spot the Composer.
    • Access to the activities of the Producers Network of the Film Market.
    • Easy access to screenings of the official selection and parallel selections.
    • An official climb of the steps of La Fabrique Cinéma during the Cannes Film Festival.

Eligibility Criteria
