Deadline: 30 November 2024
The Hasselblad Foundation has launched Sweden’s largest photo salon – Fotosalongen for amateurs and professional photographers across all genres.
Fotosalongen opens on May 23rd, 2025, and will fill the walls of the Hasselblad Center. This extensive initiative is in line with Erna and Victor Hasselblad’s goal to support the photographic landscape. The ambition is to offer visitors unexpected encounters where established artists meet new talents and photographers who have been active for a long time but have not yet shown their work until now.
Fotosalongen aims to reflect the breadth of photography, from documentary, photojournalism, nature, family, or street style to science, politics, art, and everything in between. The selection focuses on interesting images and stories and the diversity of expression. Fotosalongen will take the pulse of contemporary photography.
