The SAHNE project’s open call for artistic production, applications from artists, art initiatives and galleries residing in Turkey and working in the field of visual arts within the data-based art discipline will be evaluated, all financial support will be provided for the production process and the selected work will be exhibited permanently.
Exhibition Venue
- The selected work will be exhibited at Terra Santa for 1 year with the venue support of Beyoğlu Municipality.
Eligibility Criteria
- The open call is open to applications from all artists, and artists who apply are expected to have at least 3 years of artistic experience and to document this during the application.
- Applications can be made for an interdisciplinary work that simultaneously includes data visualization and photography, audio, video and installation media of data captured on hate speech, discrimination and disinformation.
Evaluation Criteria
- Evaluation criteria include artistic quality, budget, feasibility, sustainability, intersectionality and interdisciplinary.
- The entire management of the process will be provided by the Turkey-Europe Foundation, and the selection of the work or works to be supported will be made by an independent jury consisting of artists, curators, cultural managers, academics, journalists, human rights activists, project managers and contemporary art critics. The names of the jury will be shared with the public in a transparent manner when the evaluation results are announced.
