Applications are now open for the annual photography competition “The Dreamers” aimed at young people aged 12 to 16 in Greater Paris.
The Dreamers project is organized by the RÊVE association. This initiative is made possible by the support of Hahnemühle France, a pioneering force and world leader in the production of art paper, Atelier D-Images, an art printing workshop located in Paris, and amap studios, a superb photo and video studio located opposite the famous Père Lachaise cemetery.
What is the theme?
- If you are between 12 and 16 years old, please submit a series of 4 photographs that capture “A Day in My Life”.
Benefits
- The first three winners will benefit from masterclasses taught by professionals from “The Dreamers”, including photographers, curators and art printers. These masterclasses aim to teach children creative and technical methods, guiding them in creating a complete photo project and exploring various printing techniques for their works. At the end of the program, participants will have their first portfolio compiled, complete with critiques and recommendations from educators.
What can be submitted?
- You must submit 4 images. The work must be designed and produced by young photographers without any external assistance (except technical assistance and educational support). The authors, respectively the parents, grant the organizer the right to use the selected works as part of the event and to exhibit them.
Who can participate?
- This competition is open to all young photographers aged 12 to 16 residing in Greater Paris , France. The jury will look for a series of photographs united by the announced theme.
