What they Offer?

• Up to £15,000 for the development, production and post production
• Mentoring and training from their leading industry partners
• A television broadcast and digital distribution throughout August 2024

Creative Brief

• Your film will need to be about one of these two topics, with a compelling narrative journey and an original creative approach:
  • Working with Whisper, who are producing the Paralympics for Channel 4, they are looking for one film about:
    • the sporting values of courage, determination and equality.
    • The underlying theme will be ‘being active.’
    • It can be about celebrating a team or local community sports, etc.
  • Working with British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT), they are looking for one film about:
    • Life beyond labels
    • A story of everyday adventures from the signing community.

Eligibility Criteria

• This Fund is only open to nominees aged 18 or over at the time of submission who reside in, and primarily live in, the UK.
• This Fund is open to all emerging filmmakers and production companies. Together TV particularly encourage applicants who identify as D/deaf, disabled or neurodivergent. Individual applicants must not have more than three previous broadcast credits as Director or Producer and production companies must not have more than three TV broadcast credits.
• Employees of Together TV, their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, their families, agents or any other person(s) connected with this Fund (including the judging panel and third-party promotional partners) are excluded from applying to this Fund.
• Together TV reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude any party and withhold funds for violating any of these Terms. Together TV reserve the right to amend these Terms and any amendments to them will be published on the Promoter’s website.
• Proposals submitted after the Closing Date will not be valid.
• Incomplete, false, or fraudulent proposals or those that do not conform to all terms of the Eligibility Criteria will be invalid.
• Producers agree to allow the free use of their name, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by Together TV.
• If any individual or production company is determined to have actually or allegedly breached any of these Terms, they may be disqualified. If any Producer is disqualified, Together TV reserves the right to select another Producer via the relevant judging panel.
