The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in collaboration with MyGov are organizing the Wetlands and Human Well-being Photography Contest to create awareness and encourage the citizens of the country, especially the students about the conservation of wetlands.
This year’s theme of World Wetlands Day is “Wetlands and human well-being”, which highlights the importance of conservation and sustainable use of wetlands for human well-being.
Prize Information
- Prize for the winner: INR 10,000
- Second prize for Runner up: INR 5,000
- Third prize for Second runner up: INR 3,000
- Consolation Prizes (2) – 1,000 each
Technical Parameter
- Photographs shall be submitted only in JPEG (or JPG) format.
- It should be ensured that the uploaded photograph is visible and of high resolution.
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open to all Indian citizens.
- Entries must be original work by the creators.
- Participants are required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and postal address.
- Entry once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
- One participant can submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.
- The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and MyGov will not be responsible for entries that are lost/late/incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control.
