The competition celebrating the wildlife and wild places of Beds, Cambs and Northants is open for entries.

Themes and Categories
- The theme for this year’s 2024 Photography Competition is Nature all around.
- Within this theme entrant will be required to submit their image(s) under one of the following categories:
- Flora and Fauna
- Images of wildlife, plant life, fungi, landscapes, etc. – if it’s wild and from the three counties they want to see.
- People and Nature
- Could you snap a great shot of people enjoying a nature reserve? Or a child’s fascination with a ladybird or snail on their hand? Is there an urban fox that frequents your garden? They’d love to see how nature and people co-exist for you in the three counties.
- Youth
- For those under 18, they’re interested to see your interpretations and visions of nature all around.
- Flora and Fauna
Prize Information
- There are four prizes to be won.
- Each category winner will receive £130 of their choice of equipment from long-term supporters Opticron.
- One overall winner will be chosen from the category winners to also receive the top prize of an OM5 + 12-40mm kit, which has an SRP of £1,799 at time of publishing, generously donated by the competition sponsors OM Digital Solutions, in association with Campkins Cameras.
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open to anyone of any age with the following exceptions:
- individuals directly involved in organising or judging the competition;
- professional photographers, defined for the purposes of this competition as those who earn more than half their income through photography.
- If you are under the age of 18 you must have permission to enter from your parent or guardian. Your parent or guardian will be required to submit the application on your behalf.
- The photographs must be submitted in landscape orientation.
- Images must not have been taken in commercial blinds or hides.
- Images must not feature any captive or domesticated animals.
