Deadline: 27 November 2024
The Gabo Foundation, with the support of the National Library of Colombia and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Knowledge, invites you to the workshop Narrating the Caribbean from Gabo’s perspective: Aracataca Station.
This theoretical-practical workshop will seek to strengthen the narrative skills of journalists, communicators and storytellers who work from or cover the Caribbean region, with an emphasis on cultural coverage. The Aracataca station of this series of workshops will have an emphasis on audio narration, thanks to the participation of Maria Jesús Espinosa de los Monteros, an expert in podcasts and radio innovation, thus combining training in narration and story construction with the search for innovation and new formats.
This workshop is part of the activities of the ‘From 10 to 100’ programme, which includes four workshops in the Caribbean region as part of the first season of the Centenary and the tribute to the tenth anniversary of the death of Gabriel García Márquez.
