The Jerusalem Press Club (JPC) is excited to invite you to apply for the highly anticipated 2024 Climate Journalism Fellowship to Israel.
This weeklong trip in March 8-16 2024 (subject to change) offers a firsthand experience of israel’s groundbreaking efforts to combat global climate change. It will cover travel, lodging, and a range of media opportunities.
The trip is specifically designed for climate journalists who report on new and proved breakthroughs and solutions to climate changes.
Building upon the success of the inaugural program, the 2023 Climate Innovations Tour in Israel, this immersive experience promises to be an extraordinary opportunity for you to explore innovative climate solutions and contribute to the global conversation on climate change.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to engage with climate solution innovators and investors, explore their projects, and discuss the challenges and triumphs they face. You will also have the chance to visit Israel’s world-renowned research institutions, and sustainable communities, and witness real-world applications of transformative technologies. JPC will be at your disposal to help lock in interview opportunities in advance of the trip between programming in Israel.

- August 9, 2023: Energy Tech in Israel; Renewable and Conventional Energy sources/Methods for Storing Energy/Energy Efficiency & Smart Loads/Hydrogen, T&D Advanced Technologies.
- October 10, 2023: Materials and Manufacturing – new materials, clean manufacturing, carbon capture utilization
- November 15, 2023: Land Use – climate-smart agriculture, soil health, alternative proteins, food loss, and waste, mining
- December 18, 2023: Built Environment – mobility and transport, low carbon buildings, green construction, water infrastructure
- January 16, 2024: Digital – sustainable digital infrastructure, carbon management risk & finance.
