The Saxony-Anhalt Art Foundation has announced its Short Film Program “Daring-courageous” to support young filmmakers in particular in the production of films.
Funding Information
- The art foundation supports the script and project development of short films with a grant of up to 4,500 euros, as well as film production with a subsidy of 90% of the total costs up to a maximum of 20,000 euros.
- Presentation at national or international festivals is also supported with up to 2,000 euros.
Eligible Projects
- The project to be funded can be:
- Feature films
- Animations and documentaries
- Experimental forms of documentary
- Fictional film
Eligibility Criteria
- Producers and filmmakers who have their primary residence in Saxony-Anhalt or whose project refers to Saxony-Anhalt are eligible to apply.
- This initiative is intended to give young filmmakers in Saxony-Anhalt in particular the opportunity to gain experience in developing and implementing a film project.
- Supervision of the production by a specialist mentor is mandatory for first-time works and can also be supported with a grant from the art foundation.
