The Momo Distribution Fund aims meet the gap in the short film distribution landscape and support emerging filmmakers from Southeast Asia.
Momo Film Co believes that independent cinema provides a valuable space for a diverse variety of narratives to be shared. They are always on the look out for films with original and daring voices. It is their commitment to support Southeast Asian filmmakers, and to raise the profile of the industry in the global market. In partnership with C47 Investment, they launched the Momo Distribution Grant, dedicated to meet the gap in the short film distribution landscape and support emerging filmmakers from Southeast Asia.
Funding Information
- The grant will support short films and their distribution journey each year with a cash amount of S$1000 each.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Director
- Is of Southeast Asian descent and citizen.
- Must have made a previous short film but not a feature film.
- Is not a full time student.
- The Film
- Must be produced in Southeast Asia.
- Must not be longer than 30 minutes.
- Should have a complete cut with English subtitles at the time of Grant application.
- Must not be screened prior to the Grant application.
Criteria
- All submissions must be in the English language. By applying for funding, applicants acknowledge that the submitted materials will be viewed by a committee of film professionals appointed by Momo FiIm Co as part of the deliberation process.
