The Documentary Africa (DocA) is offering production grants to support development, production, postproduction and impact production of documentary films to filmmakers and producers from the African continent.
They also provide project support to documentary organizations working within the continent to develop, execute, monitor, and evaluate projects which may include:
- Trainings (workshops, residencies, labs),
- Mentorships,
- Film Festivals and Markets.
Description
- Production grants support the actual shooting and recording of documentary film content which includes funding for:
- Production workshop attendance.
- Pre-production
- Production costs
Eligibility Criteria
- This call for applications is only open to documentary producers of African nationality preferably residing in an African Country.
