The Netherlands Film Fund, has entered into a partnership agreement with Norwegian Film Institute, is seeking applications for development of minority co-production.
The Netherlands Film Fund and the Norwegian Film Institute (NFI) have entered into a partnership agreement to stimulate co-production between Norway and the Netherlands in the field of long documentaries.
Funding Information
- Maximum contribution: €15,000
- Max. 17.5% producer fee & overhead on the costs deemed eligible by the Fund.
Eligibility Criteria
- A production company (a legal entity, not a sole proprietorship or general partnership) that has been established for at least two years in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a member state of the EU, EEA or Switzerland and that produces and exploits films and other audiovisual productions on a continuous basis.
- The production company is represented by the Dutch minority co-producer. He/she has been the majority producer and has been primarily responsible for the realization of at least one feature-length documentary with a cinema release.
Application Requirements
- The application file must in any case contain the following documents:
- A synopsis (max. 5 pages)
- The scenario (if any)
- Motivation of the makers (director, writer and producer) for requesting an additional contribution for joint development
- Develop budget/financing plan
- Letter of Commitment from co-producer, writer and director
- CVs of the (co-)producer, (co-)writer and director
- Deal memo producers
- Chamber of Commerce extract (not older than 12 months)
