The Netherlands Film Fund (NFF) is pleased to announce the Cinema release of High-Quality Foreign Children’s & Youth Films Fund.
Funding Information
- Maximum €25,000 to support the P&A budget for the release of the film;
- An additional contribution of up to €15,000 can be requested for dubbing.
Eligibility Criteria
- A film distributor from the Kingdom of the Netherlands that has continuously released films in Dutch cinemas and film theaters for at least two years prior to the application can apply.
- A film distributor may be eligible for a financial contribution if:
- the foreign children’s or youth film is a distinctive, artistic, high-quality and distinctive international film production, with added value for film culture in the Netherlands;
- the film has been selected at least one leading international film festival that is included in the list International Film Festivals – International festival selection & Foreign arthouse film and documentaries, no more than 1 year ago before the submission deadline;
- the film is not released in sub-distribution;
- the film has a running time of at least 60 minutes (an exception to the running time can be made for toddler and preschool films).
- Children’s and youth films for which a distribution contribution has already been received under another Fund scheme are not eligible for a contribution under this scheme.
