The Netherlands Film Fund (NFF) and the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF) have launched the Film Fund to support a number of feature films and documentaries that are realized in co-production.

- Maximum €200,000
- Documentary:
- Maximum €50,000
Who is eligible?
- A production company (a legal entity, i.e. not a sole proprietorship or partnership) that has been established in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a member state of the EU, EEA or Switzerland for at least two years and produces and exploits films and other audiovisual productions on a continuous basis.
- The production company is represented by the Dutch minority co-producer. As a major producer, he/she has been primarily responsible for realizing:
- at least one feature film with a cinema release in the Netherlands (application feature film);
- at least one (long) documentary with a cinema release in the Netherlands (documentary application).
Conditions
- The film production must have received realization support from the VAF.
- The total contribution of Dutch funds and market parties to the realization of the film production must amount to at least 10% of the total production costs.
- The national cinema release must be guaranteed in the country of the majoritarian co-producer by a film distributor or market parties from the local exploitation chain.
- The film production must be released in the Netherlands. The applicant must submit a written statement signed by a Dutch film distributor.
- Any financial contributions in the context of Eurimages and/or other European funding must be allocated to the applicant pro rata.
- The financing of the film production must be demonstrably fully and unconditionally committed by third parties within 15 months of the decision to grant a subsidy.
