The Dutch Film Fund is seeking applications for its short-term training course at home or abroad in the field of development, (post)production, and or distribution exhibition of film productions and innovation in the film sector.
The training must demonstrably relate to Dutch film practice, be of a professional and high-quality level and increase the applicant’s professional knowledge and skills within his or her own field.
Subsidy for participation in a training outside the own field will only be awarded if sufficient motivation is provided as to how the training contributes to increasing knowledge and skills with regard to current work.
Funding Information
- A maximum of 75% of the eligible costs up to a maximum of €3,000 per year as a contribution to the individual costs of training a film professional active in the Dutch film sector.
Eligible Cost
- Participation costs (excl. VAT), travel and accommodation costs.
Ineligible Cost
- Costs that are not eligible for a subsidy include food and beverages, loss of income due to participation in the training and translation costs.
Eligibility Criteria
- A natural person from the Kingdom of the Netherlands who has been working as a film professional for at least two years, with demonstrable sound specialist knowledge and experience in his or her own field of film production, which must be current and of a professional level.
