At the Film Fund you can apply for a contribution to organize a short-term training and/or lab of maximum one year.
The training may be given both in the Netherlands and abroad and is aimed at the exchange of knowledge between film professionals in the field of development, (post)production, and/or distribution/exhibition of film productions and innovation of the film sector.
The training or lab must demonstrably relate to Dutch film practice, be of a professional and high-quality level and increase the professional knowledge and skills of the participants within their own field.
Funding Information
- The contribution to the organisation of a training or a Talent Lab is determined on a case-by-case basis and in conjunction with existing activities and programmes within the national and international film sector, with a maximum of 75% of the total costs.
- If the organisation of a training course has been supported with a contribution from the Film Fund, individual film professionals will no longer be eligible for a contribution for participation in the training course.
Eligibility Criteria
- An equipped organization from the Kingdom of the Netherlands specialized in organizing trainings and/or labs aimed at film professionals. The organization has been offering such trainings for two years or more.
