The Aftershoot Create Together Fund is a $1 million grant program to build thriving photography communities worldwide.
Aftershoot believes in creating an environment where photographers inspire, educate, and challenge each other, enabling creativity to thrive through connection and collaboration. The Fund aims to bring these communities to life through meaningful in-person experiences.
This fund will help photographers unite to share their skills, discover new techniques, and engage in creative collaborations. Apply now and contribute to shaping the future of photography.
Funding InformationÂ
- Event Funding Options are as follows:
- $1000 for events up to 20 people
- $2000 for events up to 40 people
- Grants up to $5000 for larger events, per request/proposal
How will Aftershoot support you?

- Feature your event on the Aftershoot website
- Send an Aftershoot Event Kit
- Highlight your event in the Community Events Blog Post
- Showcase photos and videos from your events on Aftershoot’s social media
Uses of the FundsÂ
- Types of Expenses covered, including but not limited to:
- Venue rental fees & equipment purchases or rentals
- Hiring models, props, makeup, costumes, & materials for shoots
- Collaborating with allies who assist with event production
- Event promotion &platform fees (Meetup, Eventbrite, etc.)
- Ordering food and extra Aftershoot merchandise for the event
Types of Events
- They support a variety of photography events, including but not limited to:
- Meetups
- Photowalks
- Model shoots
- Workshops
Eligibility CriteriaÂ
- Applicants should meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Active event or wedding photographer with a portfolio of recent work.
- Experience in photography education (online or offline).
- Leader of an existing photography community or network Interested in or beginning to explore hosting photography-related workshops, events, or meetups – Instructor at a photography school or educational institution.
