Deadline: 25 October 2024
This is an open-call funding opportunity under the USAID MEA project implemented by Internews in partnership with FHI 360 and local partners, open to all the media, civil society organizations and individual media professionals interested in developing innovative solutions in content creation and distribution.
The goal of Internews’ activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the USAID media engagement activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Media Engagement Activity – MEA) is to strengthen the information space in BiH. The purpose of the project is to increase the availability of credible and professional information to the widest possible population in BiH, especially to those with traditionally limited access to such information. The activities of Internews are financed by USAID (US Government Agency for International Development), through the support of Family Health International (FHI 360). This call is focused on innovative approaches to solving the challenges faced by the media in the production of high-quality content and achieving those solutions through the use of digital and multimedia formats.
Through this Fund, MEA will support projects that explore new approaches in the media industry or search for new ways of using existing methods. They welcome ideas that aim to improve the quality and reach of diverse content, using new and insufficiently researched channels of transmitting credible information to a wider audience.
