Screenplay Development Long Documentary Film Fund

The Fund strengthens Dutch film culture along the policy lines: talent development, innovation, internationalization and professionalization.

Funding Information

• Scenario development
  • Max. €37,000 for research, documentary script, test recordings and teasers
• Script coach/expert advisor advisor
  • Max. €2.500

Who is eligible?

• A production company (a legal entity, therefore not a sole proprietorship or partnership) that has been established in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a member state of the EU, EEA or Switzerland for at least two years and produces and exploits films and other audiovisual productions on a continuous basis.
• The production company is represented by a producer with demonstrable experience in professional film/television practice and has demonstrable experience in producing and releasing majoritarian feature-length documentaries. The producer representing the production company is not the same person as the director of the film.
• From the project development phase onwards, i.e. the creative-technical and production-business elaboration, the requesting production company no longer needs to change.
