Submissions are now open for the 2024 Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) Short Film Fund, a $10,000 funding initiative for Australian filmmakers to fund the completion of a short film that incorporates a Jewish theme, character or story arc.
JIFF is seeking treatments and scripts for films under 10 minutes that are universally engaging, entertaining, and able to resonate with audiences from all backgrounds.
Funding Information
- Two filmmakers will receive $5000 funding for their film projects to premiere at JIFF in October 2024.
Deliverables
- 5 Aug 2024: Runtime, brief synopsis and 1x high res key still
- 9 Sept 2024: 5-10 x high res key production stills
- 23 Sept 2024: Film delivery deadline (DCP or pro res files)
Eligibility Criteria
- The entries are open to all filmmakers who are Australian residents.
