The Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the United States (AFPC-USA) provides annual scholarships to professional foreign journalists who are currently enrolled in any full-time master’s level program of any U.S.- based academic institution.
The purpose of the annual scholarships is to support foreign journalists in the U.S. to enhance their skills through graduate-level programs of U.S.-based academic institutions in areas that are fundamental for their work as professional journalists in a rapidly changing global media environment.
Master’s level studies, which will be considered for support, include but are not restricted to journalism, media relations, communications, film, videography, photography, visual arts, and other fields.

- Eligible to apply for scholarships are only those who are:
- professional journalists originated from foreign countries ( U.S. citizens are not eligible to apply).
- they are currently enrolled in any Master’s level program in any US-based academic institution OR they graduated from any Master’s level program of any US-based academic institution at any time in the year 2024.
