The scholarship empowers talented Master’s-level journalism students by offering financial aid and guidance. Focused on fostering excellence and ethical journalism, this program aims to nurture aspiring journalists, creating a positive societal impact through their work.

Duration
- The scholarship is for one year with an extension to the second year of study, as appropriate on case-to-case basis and shall be conditional on the scholar maintaining a satisfactory level of performance as determined by the college.
- The maximum duration of scholarship award is two years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students having an active admission offer & belonging to economically weaker sections will be given preference.
- Preference will be given to applicants from economically weaker sections (income less than Rs. 350,000) who’ve secured admission in journalism degree courses at a government college.
- Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial needs.
- You may apply to more than one college simultaneously.
