Are you a woman involved in the fight against the effects of climate change in Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast or Cameroon, and you wish to promote your public expression and your influence in the media in order to promote social issues and sustainable development in West and Central Africa? If yes, then this call is for you!
The Afri’kibaaru 2 project aims to enable the populations of West and Central Africa to better understand and grasp the issues of society and sustainable development so that they are able to participate more actively in public debate and action around these problems. The project also aims to improve the presence of women as experts and agents of change in the media, and to enable them to convey their messages related to climate change issues.
Goals
- The training sessions should enable beneficiary women to:
- develop their self-confidence.
- Speaking out in the media.
- Respond to an interview.
- Participate in a debate and defend their ideas.
- Manage their stress when they have to speak in public.
- Structure their interventions.
Cost Covered
- From a logistical point of view, the project will cover travel, accommodation and catering costs if necessary.
Selection Criteria
- Interested women should apply directly on the site.
