Deadline: 16 February 2024
The Annenberg Inclusion Initiative has launched the Proof of Concept Accelerator Program to be the pre-eminent accelerator for work that gives voice to the perspectives of women, trans and non-binary people.
The program focuses on the elements that rising talent needs to be successful in the industry, particularly around financing and mentorship.
Designed by industry leaders, Proof of Concept will see filmmakers through the production and exhibition of a short film, with the goal of supporting material that will lead directly to a feature or episodic series.
Components

- Mentorship
- The second component—one-on-one mentorship and guidance from industry leaders—plugs the program participants into a system of support and opportunity.
- Project Showcase
- The third and final aspect of the program—an industry-facing showcase—will provide a spotlight on work that puts the perspectives of women, trans, and non-binary people front and center.
