Entries are now open for the Prix Elysee Prize to make a promising photographer, recognized in their country, known on the international scene, and to provide them with substantial financial assistance to carry out an ambitious project.
The Eylsée Prize is a prize to support creation in two phases, within the framework of which is valued both the ongoing work of 8 nominees, and the result obtained by the winner (publication and /or exhibition and/or installation, etc.).
What you will receive?
- The nominees will receive:
- A contribution of 5,000 CHF
- The visibility given to their work
- The presentation of their work during an event
- The winner will receive
- 40,000 CHF dedicated to the realization and production of his photographic project
- 40,000 CHF dedicated to promoting the project (publication and/or exhibition and/or installation, etc.)
- The visibility given to his work
- Help and advice provided by one of the Photo Elysée curators during the production of their project and its promotion (publication and/or exhibition and/or installation, etc.)
- Promoting your project during an event
Eligible Project
The projects eligible for the Prix Elysée are:
- A unique photographic project, which has never been exhibited before, and which is not the subject of a transfer of rights contract previously concluded with other parties. This work must in no case have been submitted for any other price.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Prix Elysée is open to mid-career photographers or artists from around the world. They are recommended by a recognized professional in the field of photography, contemporary art, cinema, fashion, journalism or publishing.
- Artists, regardless of their age or nationality, are invited to submit their application.
- The Prix Elysée is open to photographers and artists of all nationalities.
- It can be individual or collective. In the event of a collective application, the group designates a representative as Photo Elysée contact person. A collective application has the same prerogatives as an individual application.
- Any work sent must primarily use photography. However, artists are invited to “explore” the image. For example, photo collages or photographs without a camera are welcome.
- All photographic genres and techniques are welcome.
