The Screen Wexford in partnership with Wexford County Council Arts Office is delighted to announce the New Voices Short Film Fund.
The aim of this award is to provide funding and support to emerging filmmakers based in the County Wexford region. They are looking for unique and original ideas from talented new filmmakers with authentic voices telling diverse stories reflecting Wexford.
Funding Information
- A fund of €10,000 will be shared between a selection of a maximum of 3 successful applicants.
- This will cover genres of drama, documentary and animation. The award also consists of mentorship from leading industry professionals, as well as some in kind support of lighting equipment hire and film equipment hire.
Eligibility Criteria
- They welcome and actively encourage applications of all backgrounds and experience.
- At least one of the creative team must be based in Wexford.
- They are seeking entries from narrative film, documentary and animation.
- One of the core creative team (Writer/Director/Producer) must be from or living in Wexford.
- Applicants must have a short script or documentary treatment, with a focus on Wexford as a location or Wexford culturally.
