Submissions open for CEWE Photo Award

Deadline: 31 May 2025

The CEWE invites applications for the CEWE Photo Award.

The world’s largest photography competition is back! It carries an important message: every photo counts. Because for every photo you upload, CEWE donates 10 euro cents to SOS Children’s Villages around the world.

From Europe to the whole world. Launched as ‘Europe is Beautiful’, the CEWE Photo Award now inspires people across borders to share their photographs and discuss the beauty of the world. This is inspired by the main slogan of the competition: “Our world is beautiful.” This wide spectrum of perspectives creates an opportunity to honor the most beautiful photos.

As a charity photography competition, it only serves to promote the culture of photography and also generates donations for a worthy cause. Thanks to a responsible approach, it creates a framework that protects rights and respects and values photographs. The CEWE Photo Award competition is deeply rooted in a community of aspiring photographers, an engaged jury and pan-European photography festivals.

The winning photos will be presented on the website in the “Winners” tab, and the winners will be notified in writing by CEWE by e-mail and/or post.
