The Netherlands Film Fund is accepting submissions for the Pitch Film Idea Fund Program.
Funding Information
- Each panel member receives a fixed compensation of €500 excl. VAT plus travel expenses per day on which the pitches take place.
Who can register the team for a pitch?
- A producer registers (also on behalf of the team, if applicable) for the pitch for a feature film or long documentary.
- The producer must represent a production company (a legal entity, therefore not a sole proprietorship or partnership), which has been established in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a member state of the EU, EEA or Switzerland for at least two years and which produces films and other audiovisual products on a continuous basis. production produces and exploits.
- Only in the case of a feature film or long animated film, an experienced screenwriter can also register independently for a pitch for a feature film, if he or she also chooses to follow the screenplay development phase independently.
- The screenwriter must have previously been primarily responsible for the screenplay of at least one feature film or full-length animated film that was released in Dutch cinemas.
Conditions
- The pitch sessions are open to new film ideas that have not previously been submitted to the Fund for a majoritarian Dutch feature film, feature-length animated film or feature-length documentary from independent makers, before they submit an application for Screenplay Development Feature Film and Feature-length Animated Film or Screenplay Development Feature-length Documentary.
- The pitch makes it clear what the team (producer and/or screenwriter and, if already involved, the director) wants to make, with whom and why.
- You can register for the pitch a maximum of two times with the same film idea.
